YOUNG CITIZENS' LEAGUE.

AUCKLAND, May 9. A meeting presided over by Mr Oucten, S.M., established a Young Citizens' League. Mr Cutten raid the object wr.s to promote the general welfare of young people over school age. Many young people did not get a fair chance "in life, and a great wastage resulted, as the community lost not on'y the benefit of good citizenship, but its welfare was endangered The members of the League would be young people, but it was suggested tbnt adult honorary members also should be provided for. The religions policy of the League would be non-=ec+arian, on the basis of true religious feeling and ■ reverence for God. Mr Cutten was elected the Srst president.
