The Public Works Department h.-id difficulty in getting carpenters and labourers for work at Motuihi until a guarantee w&B given of compensation in case of sickness or death should any of the men contract influenza while on the Island. There are still four of the Ma-Wura passengers in hospital on Motuihi.
