MANAWATU R.C. AUTUMN MEETING.

CONCLUDING DAY'S RESULTS

(Per Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., May 8. The second day of the Manawat.u races was held in fine weather. The attendance was fair and the going good. The "tote" handled £38,144, against £4-5,397 for the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £74,239, against £91,310 last year. Results :—

Stonyhirst Welter—2 Hurry Up (R, Reed), 1; 6 Multaine, 2; 8 Munster, y. (Also started: 5 Robur. 11 Detroit, 12 Birkenvale, 3 Paddington Green, 1 Fabriquette, 9 Kiltess, 10 Golden Grafton, 4 Tiranga, 7 Gold Problem. Won by a length. Time 1 mm 28 2-5 gees.
