The annual meeting of the Napier Returned Soldiers' Association passed remits to conference: T*hat the Gov■ernment be asked to legislate so that aggregation of land shall be checked; tkat permanently disabled soldiers' pensions be increased; that matriculation be, dispensed with; that Anzac Day.be a statutory holiday; that a sole Minister of Repatriation be appointed, not necessarily an M.P.; that the mufti allowance be retrospective, Messrs G. P. Aldridge and B. Malone were appointed delegates to the Christchurch Conference.
