The Minister of Justice announced that the result of the voting on the licensing issue on the transport Remuera was: Continuance 389; Prohibition 67; majority for Continuance 322.
An amended return for Wellington Suburbs. Continuance 3282; Prohibition 3445; majority for Prohibition 163. The totals of civilian, and military votes are now:—• Continuance .. .:.'.. 259,881 Prohibition .. .... 252,556 Majority for Continuance 7325
