PICTURES AND VAUDEVILLE
It is a pleasure to commend the admirable vaudeville entertainment presented by Messrs Fuller tit His Majesty's Theatre la-it evening It was in every way delightful. Mr ,G. Austin EJackio opened the entertainment by singing "I Hear You Calling Me," hi's splendid effort resulting in an unmista'c. able recall. "Mary of Argyle" was s.ung" with great tenderness, the singer's beautiful voice being heard to great advantage. This aroused enthusiasm, the linger having to repeat the last verse. flhe KJentos followed, and they gave a wonderful display of acrobatic and balancing skill. Their work is really of outstanding merit, and it is enhanced by then* make-up and by-play. Brull! and Helmstey made a reanoearance th.it was decidedly -welcome. They are a particularly clever pair, especially in character sketch work. It would take a lot to beat their football and moving picturo "turns," while the 4<newly-mar-ried couple item was most" diverting. They made a distinct hit, and had to reappear several times. " Reggiardo ' showed himself to lie no mean impersonator of Ciuquevalli, his juggling being very fine. He performed quite a number of Cinquevalli's teats, including those with the cannon ball. A fascina*. ing turn concluded with a spectacular unveiling of the Allied flags. These a'tits will appear again this evening. The first part of the programme consists of a fine film entitled "A Man's World"' and starring Emily Stevens.
