SAD DROWNING ACCIDENT.
THREE' MEN LOSE THEIR LIVES. >
(Per Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, April 23. A triple drowning1 tragedy occurred to-day in the Ahaura river. Wil- - liam Crysell, engine driver (aged 50), John Brosnan (aged 30), and Thomas (aged 45), both being dredge .hands, were in a boat engaged' in the work of moving the Ahaura dredge down stream in «i iresh for dismantling, when the boat by some means capsized. The xi.en all disappeared and were not again seen. The boat was drifting away when the dredgemaster first noted the accident. The bodies have not yet been recovered. Crysell leaves a wife and three of a grownrUp family at Ahaura. Brosnan leaves a wife and two children at Waikaia, Otago. Reynolds was a single man.
