RETURNING SOLDIERS.

WELLINGTON, April 23
Official advice has been received of the departure of two more steamers from the United Kingdom with. New Zealand troops aboard. Particulars are: PakeKa (returning draft No. 251), left United Kingdom on 12th April, due Wellington or Port Chalmers on 2nd June. The draft com- | prises 520 troops, 5 civilians, 4 wome nand 2 children. This makes the number of New Zealand troops at present afloat and homeward bound 10,252.
