THE DOMINIONS.
NEW HEBRIDES AND NAVAL
QUESTIONS
(Received April 22, 10.20 p.m.)
PARIS, April 21
The British delegation discussed (French proposals for exchanges and readjustments of colonial possessions. It, is understood there is no proposal that the British leave the New Hobrides, though possibly there will be a division.
The question of the Dominions' navies was further discussed. The British would like New Zealand to accept at least two cruisers of the Sydney class, while Australia can nave practically anything in the way of a new navy she thinks she can afford.
