GERMAN PARTIES UNITE.
TALKING HIGH
(Received March 31, 12.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 30.
The " Daily Chronicle's " Berlin correspondent states that all parties support the Government's attitude regarding Dantzig.
• The "Deutschea Zeitung" urc^e the Government to stand firm. It describes the reply to the' Entente as the first firm act of a weak Government.
"The Tageblatt" says .the , Polae cannot be regarded, as Allies of the Entente. They are not one of the Powers with which Germany concluded the armistice. The Entente have, experienced a surprise in Hungary and must surely see that Germans will not subscribe to a peace that will condemn them to indeterminate periods of slavery and deny them the right of self-determination as well as reducing them to. treatment as cattle.
The "Vorwaertz" says the Entente apparently wishes to satisfy the Poles' aspiration by securing Dantzig and this regardless of the resultant dangers in the East. The Entente's threats of termination of the armistice are scarcely conceivable.
