THE WOOL MARKET.
(Received March 30, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 28.
The resumption of the wool auctions is awaited with great interest. A keen demand is expected for superior sorts. It is felt that increased production is vital to the restoration of the trade's prosperity. It is not anticipated there will be great Continental demand for raw material because the manufacturing industry in France and Belgium has not yet begun to recover from the effects of the invasion. On the other hand, Germany has kept considerable stocks and is actively preparing for the resumption of trade.
