FATHER CRONIN ON MONDAY NIGHT.
Quite a Dominion-wide interest is evinced in Fa/ther Ci'onin, whom tlie public are eagerly anxious to hear for themselves. His address is said to be quite uncnventionaJ, humorous, and interesting. The rev. father treats Prohibition in many respects from new angles. Also, he has a. happy knack of originality, particularly in dealing with the Moderate League. The chief interest in his speech centres in his statements of the views of leading Catholic dignitaries, of whom he quotes a number; also as to the independence of'the individual Catholic in votjng on Prohibition. A prominent Catholic layman. Mr Chas. Todd. follows Father Cronin with an interesting address.from the layman's point of view. The public are asked to use the opportunity of the doors l>eing open at 7.30 to.enable the crowd to fill the building without crush or bustle: —Monday night, in the Opera House!
In anticipation of a large audience, the Fire Brigade Hall has heen engaged for the evening, to bo used as an overflew meeting.
