THE POPE'S SOLICITUDE.

ROME, March 4
The Pope, addressing the Catholic Labour Association, in an encyclical states: Through all the changes in the world, the association to-day preserves all its pristine vigour, the Holy See's solicitude for the welfare of the workers is undiminished. That welfare merits the attention of all desiring ta promote the general good. The encyclical adds: The Pope's heart is with those who organise unions and form part of their membership.
