KORONITI MYSTERY.

THE MISSING MAN,

FRUITLESS SEARCH MADE

No trace has been found of Albtn-t Edward Eales, aged 21 years, who \v<i* reported missing on Friday'last- at Koriniti.

In company with his father arid Mr N. Campbell, the missing man tec civ t<i burn some bush. Search was made for the missing: man on the following three days, and tn Tuesday a search party of abouit- ■ :i: dozen men, including Constable J. It was .thought the miss-; ing man might have taken to the green; bush to avoid the smoke, but there .-"X only a small strip, and on the otherside :there is a clearing. , r Yesterday the futility of further search was recognised, and Constable McMullan returned to Wanganui. <
