SWIMMING.
Tlie weather during the past few days has bsen delightful for swimming, and the dailjr attendances at the Municipal have been quite up to those- of
previous years. Mr Multer, skip of the Wanganui Swimming Club, is getting back to Us old form, and he should put up some good performances this season. An interesting swimming event is to "take place at the Baths at 5 o'clock evening, when a 100 yards Handicap will be swum.. The en-tries, are said to be good.
