POSTAL EMPLOYEE'S DEATH.
HAMILTON, Jan. 22. At the inquest on Chas. James Reed, a- postal messenger Avbo was killed at Frankton Junction, a verdict was returned thaj the deceased met his death by being accidentally run over by a locomotive engine in the railway yard, while in 'he execution of his dirty. A rider added: "That the jury iy?com-: mend? that postal baskets be deposited , in a place where it would be safe for the postal emo]oyees to collect, instead of being bundled out anywhere in tho station yards as at present."
