It is understood that the memfcers of the National Efficiency Board, following upon the Government's refusal to place the Board upon a "basis" more satisfactory to its members, and as recommended by the BoaVd, have forwarded their resignations to the Acting-Prime Minister, who has accepted them. ; Mr. J. A. Frostick, the Canterbury commissioner on the Board, when questioned this afternoon, said he could not deny the report of resignations.
