LONDON, January 21
At the Workers' Union Conference, fhe chairman, referring to the deaths of Liebknecht and Rosa Luxembourg, said: "We feel this deeply. The deaths of these people will not be the end of Bolshevism."
An Indian speaker announced that the Conference had decided on a general strike of the workers of the United Kingdom unless the authorities withdrew the Allied forces from Russia.
Sylvia Paakhurst predicted that a revolution would occur in England, the same as had occurred in other -countries.
Mr. J. R. Clynes, Labour member i"or Manchester, speaking at Oldharn, warned the Government of the gravit" of the situation. speaking of the pledge to send a Labour representative to the Peace Conference, he said it was a-breach oi the Prime Minister's pledge. At a moment of grave Labour unrest aad suspicion; it would increase the people's suspicions, and breed Bolshevism faster than it could be destroyed.
Mr. Gompers and four other American Labour delegates have arrived. They intend conferring with the British and French Labour leaders for the purpose of founding a new international organisation which will influence the Peace terms towards improving the standards of 'life of the workers in. all countries.
