The result of the German elections is interpreted here as promising the prospect of the early establishment of a.stable Government. Besides :he Majoritr Socialists' big lead over :he Independent Socialists, Ebert and Scheidemann can count upon Fehrenbach (leader of the Centre Party) as an ally in their efforts to institute Government with a basis >f popular. support. .
