At the sale of E. Short's oJud and flock Romueys to-day, 700 sheep sold »a:fe unsatisfactory prices. Stud rams varied from 18 to 13 gns., and better class from 40 to 60 gns. : The highest pric G (124 gns.) was paid by Mr. 11. Tanner (Gisborne). Other high prices were; W. JoJinsiton (Papatoetoe) 102 gits; H. R. Waklegrave (Palmerston), 101 grw; P, Neilson (Tiakaiahuna), 100 gns.; Hunt Bros. (Nelson), 90 gns.; J. Blair (Han-em), 81 gns. Flocks ranged from 3 to 7 gns., and better sorts from 1.0 to 14$ gns. Ewes ranged from sto 7 gns.
