At the Supreme Court, James Sutherland, charged with indecently assaulting a little girl, was found not guilty on the ground that he was not responsible for his actions. An ordar was made for the detention of the accused until the pleasure of the Minister of Justice is know.n
Duncan Allison was sentenced to three months on a charge of attempting to discharge a firearm with intent to do' grievous bodily harm to Constable Fox at Milton, and he will be detained for reformative purposes for not more than three years.
David Hill was admitted to probation for 2 2 months on a charge of theft of £() IS 6d, the property or the Government.
