: Is he .alive?—No; he died over a |-year,ago.. My mother, I might add, ;f. is English.
One of the local Defence Department's representatives in the Court said orders were received •to stop appellant leaving with the reinforceinents on account of his parentage. : Captain Walker added that he understood appellant was a loyal Britisher. He had enlisted voluntarily.
It was decided to adjourn the case pending the decision of the military authorities.
