: The Pacific Cable Board's report for the year ended 31st March last, shows a net working profit of £21,715, whereof £17,544 provided the usual sinking fund and instruments, and the surplus (£4231) goes to the reduction of the outstanding balance of the British Government Loan. A special contribution of £60,000 was made during the year to the cable renewal fund.
