PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION.
HOWARD ELLIOTT'S MEETING TO-NIGHT.
A meeting of the Prooestant Political Association will be held in the Opera fiou.se to-night. As intimated by advertisement iho admission will be by ticket only. The objects of the Association are "the organisation of Protestants into an association to maintain and defend 'the rights and liberties of the people ?nd to promote the political, social and moral well-being of the Dominion of :\ew Zealand; to secure the return of approved candidates to Parliament and to civic offices; to secure the impartial administration of the laws of the Dominion; to safeguard the Stare and the Empire against the aggressions of sectarian interests; to promote loyalty to th, 6 Protestant religion, th» King (being Protestant), and to tbe Empire. There will he a collection to defray expenses. Tickets may be obtained at the P.P.A. office, Fairburn and Silk's Buildings, from 2 p.m. to i) p.m. to-day.
