Feilding breeders again scored heavily at the Wairarapa S,how. In the Southdown sheep classes J. Knight had a big field. He took first award in ram over 30 months; second and third tor ram over 18-.months' and under 30* tn-st and third for ram under 18 months; second and third for two rams under 18 months; third in shorn ram sinco Oct. Ist; second in ewe over 30 months: first for ewe over 18 months and under 30 months with lamb suckling at foot; first and second for ewe under; 18 months; first and second for ewe under 18 months shorn smce Oct. Ist; and first for two ewes nuder "5 8 months.
In the fat sheep classes W. Reid and Sons proved that the lands of Makino were equal to the best for fattening purposes. They secured first for five wethers under 30 months, and first for five ewes, any age; second for five wethers or ewes or mixed sexes, under J.B months; and second for five wethers under 30 months. In the classes tor sheep suitable for freezing purposes the same breeders were first for nve wethers under 18 months
