Benatti has been sentenced to lifo impris inment. His wife was acquitted, but his father-in-law and two hotel porters were sentenced to death. Another accused named Drovandi was sentenced to 20 years' imprisonment.
[Benatti was a sergeant-major, and was charged with flhe blowing up of a dynamite factory at Cangio in February, 1916, with a terrific death-roll, and a series of vast incendiary outbreaks in Genoa in December, 1915, and February, 1916.
