THE CHILDREN'S BALL.
.The Druids' Hall presented a fascinating appearance last evening, whr-n Mr nl 1011'6?, 5 ? allin connection with Mrs ClelandV dancing class was held lhf rfL to"3 a'very large attendance and-tho. ball was a pronounced success.' The children's d*. cinq was of a very high order leaving unmistakable proof of Mrs Cleland's ability as a teacher or the terpsichoriwn airt. Especially charming was the Babies' Gavotte the wee tots "bringng down the house" b? ther dainty, and f nished dancing. The march and exercises led by Ola Whiteford, were very fine, a 3 indeed were all the dances. Mrs Cleland is to be heartily congratulated, on the performavo.e of her pupils. During the eveningprizes for punctuality and good be* haviGur were awarded to Misses Doris Ffilkner, Ola Whiteford, Ella VaileY and Doreen Bourne, and Masters Cecil l<alkner and Max Bourne. Prizes to the babies were presented as follows:— Jean Currie, Jean Bxirnett. Joan kwan, Betty Wilkie/ and Nancy Hales. There was also a good attendance ol grown-ups,, and altogether a most en joyable time was ppent.
