WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. A westerly storm area lias ruled, and high northerly winds changed to southerly on Sunday. Unsettled, and at times boisterous conditions, prevailed, and rain has fallen generally. Present indications are for strong north-west and south-west winds, and cold, squally and showery weather; the barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency. .-..,.••
