After strong artillery preparation on the Aisne we attacked last night north-west of Hurtebise. With one bound we carried all our objectives on a front of nearly 1500 metres and to a depth of about 300 metres. We broke three counter-attacks' A great many of the enemy were killed in the preliminary artillery fire and the fighting, which Avas very violent.

Our air craft co-operated, machinegunning trenches and batteries! All returned.
