ROME, August 31. General Cadorna, in an interview, «ti!.ted: —"I can say that our present operation is one of the- most important of the war, because of the vast objectives, the daring methods, and the probable effects on military morale of our superiority. It is understood that our imminent decisive success means the turning point of the war."
After seven days' fighting the Italans have conquered four defensive systems. Such has been the violence of the Italian bombardments that Bainsizza Plateau 'has been reduced, and Churpovano is a heap of ruins. It is believed that 15,CK1(T enemy wounded have been sent into hospital at Libiani.
