RIGA HARBOUR BOMBED.
GERMAN FLEET IN THE VICINITY

LONDON, September 1. Forty enemy aeroplanes made a series of raids on the Islands in the Riga Gulf and Finland Gulf. They dropped ninety bombs on warships and harbour works. Enemy ships, torpedoers and submarines were observed in the viciniy of the coasts. Enemy trawlers are opei'ating in Riga Gulf.
