PARIS, September 1. Newspapers are discussing the possibility of putting Austria altogether out of the fight. They point out that General CadOrna believes a severe defeat would force Aiustria to a separate peace. He has always maintained that the Italian front, is the only front wliere an offensive has every chance of being decisive.
ROME, August 31. Ilxe Idea Nazipnale suggests that the Italian is the principal, possibly the decisive, front, and calls on England to put forth her greatest effort here.
