Tiie annual social .gathering of St..Andrew-'s Presbyterian Church was held in the church on Thursday evening, when the building was packed by an appreciative audience, over which the Rev. D. Campbell presided. As Avas anticipated, the programme submitted was of excellent quality the items rendered Being received'with hearty,applause. All the contributors had to respond Avith encores. The folloAving ladies and gentlemen carried through the programme : Songs, Mrs. Clarke, Miss Bignell, Messrs. Ellis, Travers, and Robertson; duets, Messrs. Seddon and Tucker; recitations. Miss Webb-Jones and Miss Martin. ' Revs. "3. D. Mc'Kenzie'and D. Campbell gave interesting addresses. Votes of thanks and supper concluded a profitable evening's enjoyment.
