PALMERSTON N. SALE.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a very fair yarding of sheep at their Palmerston N. sale on Thursday last. 1 here was a good demand right throughout, and with the exception of one pen of cattle a total clearance was eli'ocwl Quo. tations :—
Sheep: Small hoggets 17s lid; very f air hoggets 23s id to 23s 4d: o-oocl hoggets 27s 6d to 28s 3d ; small 2-tooth wethers 325; 2-th wethers 36s 2d.
Cattle : Small yearling steers £5 12s ; yearling to 15-month steers £6 18s tn £7; dairy heifers £10 7s 6tl to £12 10s.
