The Press Bureau reports: A proclamation prohibits the importation of bacon, hams or lard except under licenses enabling the Government to take over the whole of the imports and concentrate purchases in various countries into a single organisation. The Food Ministry is immediately establishing a buying agency in the United States. Food will be distributed through ordinary channels, prices excluding unreasonable profits. Orders are being issued fixing the prices of cheese and butter.
