j Sir Thomas Mackenzie and Gen- ■• eral Richardson conferred with New 1 Zealanders at Walton who have lost limbs, to ascertain their views regarding training for future vocations. Many favoured learning before leaving England. They will discuss the subject further and report to Sir Thomas Mackenzie. The latter suggested that seed culture was a suitable occupation, offering great prospects in New Zealand.
