MATCH
The rep. match between the Wanganui Rugby Union and the Wanganui Hockey Association, to.be played on Cook's Gardens ttiis afternoon, has aroused a lot ofinterest, and no doubt a large crowd will attend to witness it. Both teams are very keen on the matter, and whichever side wins will richly deserve the victory. The hockey boys, who are mostly old Rugby players, are emphatic in their avowal that they can play atfltrlifcay as well as ever, whilst the younger Ibpys .of the Wanganui Union =cWn the- idea of'their opponents coming back. With two teams showing such friendly rivalry, a fast, open game is assured. The takings will go into the Swankers' fund for Baby No. 5.
