JAPS ON RUSSIAN FRONT.
LONDON, August 28. Groundless reports have been circulated in Paris that Japanese troops would soon arrive on the Russian front. It is believed, that these stories were of enemy origin, but it i§ difficult to see their object. Apparently it was hoped they would cause disappointment when they were discovered to be untrue, and possibly dissension among the Allies regarding the part each, was playing in the war.
