JBABY VOTING COMPETITION.
Tiie first counting of the votes r«* corded m the above competition up to 4 p.m. yesterday took place on Friday evening, Messrs Harden, G. baunders, and Kelly acting as scrutineers, lhe voting was heavy, and the majority of babies were very close. The numbers of the seven leading babies art» <-' as follows: No. 52, Ist; No. 14, 2»d« 5J°- o7'j¥^No- U > 4th; No. 6, sth No. 3, 6tn; No. 41, 7th. The ballot boxes will be cleared again to-day (Tuesday), at 4.p.m., and the leading baby will be credited with £1 worth of votes.
