Received August 19th, 5.5 p.m. PETROGRAD, August 17.. Ji'oruiloff has arrived, and held g lengthy ccmference with Kerensky. Interviewed, Korniloff stated thif energetic measures had resulted in ai considerable strengthening of tha morale and fighting capacity of the army. He hoped tliat new measures he was submitting to the Government would result in the complete regeneration of the army. , He stated that vast military operations may be expected oa j tho Roumanian and other fronts, especially on th Northern front, where combined land and sea action would possibly be opened. A winter campaign was inevitable. '
