The Pope's diplomatic advisers and famous professors assisted to prepare the Peace Note. Correspondents state that ih* Pope does not expect peace, but believes tho Note will have an important effect on negotiations, which he anticipates will be made shortly. . The Note was completed before the- Russian debacle in Galicia.
