ALL'S WELL WITH THE NAVY.

COLONEL REPINGTON'S REPORT

Received August 16, 5.20 p.m

LONDON,. August 15. Colonel Repington, after a visit to the Grand Fleet, writes: All is well with the Navy. Its efficiency is a hundred per cent higher than at the outbreak of war and fifty per cent better than at the time of the Jutland battle. The ships are in first* rate order, with no signs of wear and tear, testifying to unceasing dockyards' vigilance, considering that twenty thousand naval units havd been repaired since 1914. The naval health is superb and the men are contented and good humored, "Our Navy is now an incomparably superior instrument. If fortune offers another fleet action, none can doubt the result."
