AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB

SYDNEY, August 15
At the annual meeting of the A.J.C., the chairman stated that during the past three years the Club had paid £47,140 to patriotic funds and proposed to allocate a sum equal to the profits during the coming year. New rules establishing an accident fund for jockeys and others on similar lines to those in New Zealand, were adopted.
