WANGANUI LADIES' GOLF CLUB.
BABY VOTING CONTEST,
When the above competiton was first decided on as a means of raising funds for the Red Cross, it Avas not anticipated that it would prove so popular with the mothers of Wa'nganui, but the fact that over 75 babies have been nominated, and that a big run has already set in for tickets, augurs well for its success.
Voting is now in full swing, and will continue until the closing day, Sept, Ist.
Photos of th<e~babies will be shown at the three picture theatres on Saturday night. The photos will also be exhibited daily in the window of the Red Cross shop in His Majesty's Theatre Buildings.
