,'pn- Prose Acsor-'ntion.') WELLINGTON, Aug. 15. Gules were reported this evening in the northern districts, but generally the southerly' has decreased in force. Today the weather has been cold and unsettled, with, passing showers, especially in the northern and East Coast districts of the North Island. Atmospheric pressure has increased. Present indications are for strong but dscreasin-r southerly winds northwards .'of New JPlymouth and Napier, and southerly breezes changing to northerlies shortly, elsewhere. Weather cool and changeable, with scattered showers' in the north, but a tempoiary iin* - provenwiib may Be expected generally. The barometer has a rising tendency, but little movement for a snort time in the south.
