WELLINGTON, August 13. A westerly storm has ruled since Sunday, and northerly and westerly winds, strong to gale, have prevailed, changing to southerly in the south today. Rain has fallen in most parts of the Dominion. Present indications are for high westerly winds, barometer rising everywhere s<?nn. Expect ©old, squally and unsettled weather, with heavy showers generally; and snow on the higher levels in the south.
