P-r Press Association. WELLINGTON, August 11. ' A meeting in connection with |he &** workers dispute was held beford the Conciliation Commissioner tJili alternoon, when a satisfactory settlement was arrived at, and an agreement signed by both parties.

WELLINC4TON, Aug. 1£: 1 In connection with the gas workers 1 dispute, the men held a meeting on imday, and practically decided to &> back, provided th c company would take tne whole of the men on again, leaving conditions and pay to be adjudicate! upon by a tribunal to be mutually agreed upon. The men were met by Mr Hagger, Conciliation Coaimissibner on Saturday afternoon, and signitied their preparedness to return 'to work on Monday, provisionally en all hands being taken back to the positions previously occupied.. The matter was referred to the company, who agreed to the proposal, and it was arranged that 17 men who ceased work a month ago should recommence work this evening in their former positions, on the same terms as formerly. 1;
