Received August 11, 6.5 p.m. LONDON, August 11. After intense drumfire, enemy infantry attacked in wide sectors eastward and south-eastward of Ypres. Deep masses of English attacked from Monchy Le Preaux road as far as the Arras-Cambrai road. We destructively bombarded points of assembly and evers'where repulsed the advancing waves w\th most severe losses.
