EMPIRE SETTLEMENT.
PROPOSED CENTRAL BOARD.

LONDON, August 11
The Empire Settlement Committee recommend the appointment of a central board to control the immigration of ex-service men. It would consist of a chairman (who would devote his whole time to the subject), while the Home Government, would nominate five members and the overseas Dominions four members, with an additional two members representing the States of Australia and the provinces of Canada. There would also be five unofficial members. ,
