THE FEILDING MEETING.

There" is every reason to anticipate! that the Feilding J.C.s Autumn Meeting, which commences to-day, will be very largely patronised. The weather at the time of writing is fine, but rather unsettled. The ■ course, however, is reported to be in excellent order, and the meeting should be very successful in every way. The fields will be fairly large, and the winners have been well concealed by tho handicapper, Mr J. E. Henrys. Analogue, on the strength, of-h, 3 •■Wanganui Cup running, was made a decided favourite for the, Cup directly the weights appeared, and he has maintained that position ever since. lightly assessed in. the Kaw&kawa Hurdles, and I have an idea that the lightweights, Pawerewere or Mahzoltov, may perform decently in the Hack Hurdles. Clavis and Carmel Arch are engaged in the Onepuhi Welter, and Inah. and Lady. Edith" in the Onga Handicap, will command a lot of support'1. Wapping and Want should attract attention iri.the;Halcombe Welter, in which a very large field Js engaged.
